Well worth the money; best vacuum ever made

Massager, Medicine & Health Products May 31st, 2008

Rainbow vacuums are simply the best vacuum you can buy. I’ve have used almost every vacuum on the market; and none even come close to the water system that makes Rainbow unique.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT RAINBOW:

The water chamber keeps all dust and dirt from flying about (unlike bagged and bagless vacs).

The air in my house is practically dust free, even hours after I vacuum.

The Rainbow freshens and cleans the air as you vacuum.

Ends flea outbreaks quickly by drowning them in the water chamber (fleas can breed in vacuum bags, leading to a worse outbreak).

Gets dirt other vacs leave behind. Just use your old vacuum and then use the Rainbow in the same area. I promise the water will be filthy from all the dirt your old vac missed!

You can run the Rainbow with no attachments to clean the air and it literally pulls dust and pet hair out of the air. Dust that would otherwise be in your lungs.

No bags or filters to buy!

Any large objects vacuumed up by mistake bypass the motor completly and enter the water chamber, saving your vacuum from potential damage.

These things last forever! My 1980 D3C still runs like new!!!

WHAT I DON’T LIKE:

Emptying the water chamber after each use is annoying.

Somewhat cumbersome to pull around (like any canister vac).

That’s it, but the benefits of this vac make it worth these minor drawbacks.

If you are contemplating buying a Rainbow, you will not be disappointed. It is truly a must for anyone who cares about the quality of clean air, and don’t let the price scare you: you really are getting what you pay for. You will have this vac for MANY years to come.

Radical Islam filling moral vacuum: UK bishop

Massager, Medicine & Health Products May 31st, 2008

LONDON: A Pakistan born senior bishop has warned that the decline of Christianity in Britain has paved the way for radical Islam to fill a moral vacuum, a comment that could create a row over the relationship between Islam and the West.

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, claimed the “social and sexual” revolution of the 1960s had led to a steep decline in the influence of Christianity over society.

The bishop, who was born in Pakistan of Christian parents, said the decline of Christian values has created a “moral vacuum” which radical Islam is filling, the Daily Telegraph reported today.

In an article published in the magazine Standpoint, Nazir-Ali said Britain had become gripped by the doctrine of “endless self-indulgence” which had led to the destruction of family life, rising levels of drug abuse and drunkenness and mindless violence on the streets.

The outspokenness of Bishop of Rochester, who has become well-known as a defender of traditional Christianity, warned that radical Islam is now moving in to fill the void created by the decline of Christianity.

His comments are just the latest in a long line of combustible remarks he has made over the relationship between Islam and the West.

Earlier this year, he faced death threats when he said that that some parts of UK had become no-go areas for non-Muslims.

Last weekend he also courted controversy by claiming that the Church was not doing enough to convert British Muslims to Christianity.

Throw your 4 and 5 iron away. This club is awesome

Beauty Products Agents, Golf, Golf Clubs May 29th, 2008

I purchased the club only for certain holes on the course I regularly play. After playing with it I found that it not only replaces my 5 iron but my 4 iron as well. Grip down a bit and you have a 6 iron. For those who work the ball you might find it difficult as the flight is true. It’s hard to hook or slice which is great for me and my 12 handicap. The set up feels great, the club handles deep grass and rough very well. I’ve only hit it once out of the sand but I dug into it a little too hard so I can’t elaborate on fairway bunkers. The club will never leave my bag.

Titleist fairway woods have been around for a long time

Beauty Products Agents, Golf May 22nd, 2008

and although other clubmakers are experimenting with weight changing and odd shapes Titleist has held true to the classic lines they’ve been known for.

The 975F is a fairway wood that first came out back in the days of the 975D driver, back before gigantic clubfaces were all the rage. The low center of gravity and smaller clubface are not for high handicappers but rather shotmakers who can work the ball to the left and right. The 975F has a shorter shaft than normal 3Ws but this gives more control in my opinion. Combine the shorter shaft with a slightly upright lie angle and this club is great for picking the ball off of tight lies.

This club is great for:

* Working the ball left and right
* Low punch fairway shots
* Low handicappers or middle handicappers looking to elevate their game

This club probably isn’t so great for:

* Teeing up high because of its low profile
* Higher handicappers or beginners who use a 3W because they can’t handle a driver

It is great to have a set of irons that gets the ball up in the air

They are pretty forgiving. I will use these until they wear out! I’d highly recommend them over. I bought them because I was able to demo them and loved the feel of them immediately. Better than the X series. I even liked them better than the XTOUR irons. Callaway did well with the Big Bertha irons. I do know that they are great for the money…compared to buying the 2006 version. There really is no difference between the two. The only negative is there is not a lot of shot-shaping ability with these irons…if you want that, you’ll have to go to a forged set. GOOD LUCK!

I purchased the x16 irons shortly after starting to play. they brought me from a 25 handicap down to a 10 handicap, now that i have more advanced game I find the x16 is coming up short. The clubs just do not have the distance for the better courses and uable to shape my shots. This is a great club for the beginner, easy to hit, but not long, if your game is in the crapper buy a set, but if your game is advanced like mine i would recommend the pro series. hit em straight!!!

I Purchased my FIRST set of x-16’s about two years ago

x-16-iron-set-golf-club.JPG

During that time I was a 90’s shooter on a good day. These irons along with some practice really helped me grow my game and I finally broke the coveted 80 mark. Then 80 became my standard I was trying to break evertime out and I had at least 10 more rounds under 80 when I decided my game had outgrown these irons “yeah right”.I Decided to buy more of a players club. BAD move, my game literally fell apart over night. I sold my 800.00 set of new irons on ebay and went back to the x-16’s and although I’m not breaking 80 again I’m definitly hitting the ball better and will be playing these irons for a long long time. People say oh it’s hard to work the ball or hit finese shots chip and pitch with thick top line game improvment irons. I say BULL. My strenght is my short game. X-16’s are awesome.

King Cobra 2 O-size Iron set(grafite)

Cameras, Health, Herbs & Natural Remedies May 20th, 2008

king-cobra-2-o-size-iron-setgrafite.JPGIve tried several less expensive clubs including some very modern taylor made knock offs (integra), and I like the feel of these KCII’s better. They are quite dated by todays standards, but ironicly they did much to set those very standards.
The KCII’s give me just what I want from a set of irons, great accuracy with aproach shots and lots of confidence, easy to hit. I have the steel shafts and they dont feel good with mishits, however with a good hit they are smooth as butter. On the bright side I guess you could call that good feedback.

Highly reccomended for mid to high handicappers/ weekend golfers who want quality clubs for a reasonable price. Very well made clubs ahead of their time. Ill be using mine for a long time.

I still cant hit the long irons, but Im sure that problem is mine, not the clubs. Combined with a couple hybrids/ fairway woods they are fabulous, quality clubs.
