s this buyer going to drop me neg if I initiate the UID?

If the buyer doesn’t reply to the UID in his or her eBay dispute console then any feedback the buyer leaves will not be calculated in your feedback score. In other words, the feedback won’t count against you.

If the buyer does reply to the dispute, then his or her feedback will remain and will count against your feedback score.

UID = unpaid item dispute

Sales Reports November 27th, 2007

What a seller opens when a buyer refuses to pay for something, or pays using a payment method not accepted by the seller.

DSR = detailed seller ratings = the little stars that buyers use to rank a seller’s performance, in addition to feedback. Word around eBay is that in the future, if your DSRs are too low, you may be suspended or restricted from listing items.

I only offer my case #1 up to you because of your relatively low feedback on this ID and the fact that a neg or neutral may result in your account being restricted. 90% of sellers will go the UID route, which is fine, but carries the risks I mentioned.
